About
The Centre for Abuse and Trauma Therapy is a non-profit, registered charity serving Kingston, Ontario and the surrounding area. The Centre provides short and long-term professional psychotherapy and support to anyone who has experienced recent and/or past abuse or trauma.
The Centre provides individual psychotherapy for adults as well as
play-based therapy to support children and their caregivers.
Counselling
Our psychotherapists practice trauma-based, client-centered therapy. Client-centered means that you are the expert on your own life and this should be respected in your therapy. We will ask for your direction on how your needs will best be met in therapy.
